Kindred Skirts - An Intensive Weekend with Philippa and Gudrun

Join in for a full workshop weekend where Philippa and Gudrun will share their original FBCD®️ inspired Movement Dialect with the Skirt!
This is a 12 hour Hybrid Intensive which can be attended in person or online, over 1 weekend.
Recordings will be available for people who can not attend on the weekend.
INTENSIVE SCHEDULE:
Classes: Saturday 25.01. & Sunday 26.01.2025, both 10am - 6h15pm CET
Hafla: Saturday 25.01.2025: 7pm - 9h30pm CET (only in person at the studio)

In this Intensive you will learn:
• The key characteristics & aesthetic of the Kindred Skirts Movement Dialect created by Philippa & Gudrun
• Its evolution & inspirations
• Fast technique & transitions
• How to dance with a skirt in formations
• With plenty of time for dancing and Q&As
Recordings will be sent to all attendees after the weekend, and will be available for 4 weeks afterwards.
All levels of FCBD®️ Style dancers are welcome. A knowledge of FCBD®️ basic technique and formations is helpful.
PLEASE NOTE - IMPORTANT FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO ATTEND THE KINDRED SKIRTS TEACHER CERTIFICATION
- Full weekend attendance - in person or online or via the recording - is required for anyone wishing to attend the Kindred Skirts Movement Dialect Teacher Certification.
- The Teacher Certification is a seperate online course which consists of a 2 hour workshop on Sunday the 23rd February followed by 4 - 5 hours of certification on Sunday the 16th March 2025.

Kindred Skirts Teacher Certification
February 23rd & March 16th 2025, online
This Teacher Certification is for dancers who want to teach the Kindred Skirt Movement Dialect by Philippa and Gudrun according to their artistic vision and who want to receive detailed feedback. This certification is open to 16 participants, so that each dancer will receive our full attention and gain detailed feedback.
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
- Full attendance of the Kindred Skirts Intensive Weekend - in person, online, or via the recording.
- To be well prepared with the Kindred Skirts Movement Dialect material before meeting on February 23rd.
- To be able to execute, explain, breakdown and - of course - dance the Kindred Skirt Movements
The Teacher Certification is an online offering which consists of a 2 hour Technique CleanUp and the certification day (4 - 5 hrs)
CERTIFICATION DATES 2025 (more dates will be offered later)
Technique CleanUp: Sunday 23.02.2025 5 - 7 pm CET
Certification Day: Sunday 16.03.2025 3 - 8 pm CET
